My personal photography has gotten off to a slow start, this year. Shooting for others is fine, but when I don't shoot for myself, a part of me dies. It was nice to get out last night with my camera and shoot just for the joy of shooting.
I was a bit dismayed to feel as though my photography muse had gone on vacation without taking me along. I asked friends for ideas, and the ideas they shared jump-started my imagination. The idea for this diptych sparked from one of their suggestions. I think there will be more. Watch this space. |
