	In the past week I have been honored to attend two graduation ceremonies. First I witnessed a friend receive her doctoral hood after completing all of the requirements for her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. Now she is preparing for her licensure exam, and I have complete confidence she will pass, just like she passed the requirements for her doctorate. Next I witnessed another friend graduate with a B.S. in General Psychology and minor in Art Therapy. I met and began mentoring her when she was 10 years old. Now she is making a difference in the lives of others through her work. I am very proud of both of them. Perhaps that is what inspired me to do a bit of graduating of my own: I now have my own domain, which is where this blog resides. When I began the first version of this blog back in 2007—in the interest of showing only my best work, I only ported my 2009 entries over—I did not think of getting my own domain and had no plans of becoming an entrepreneur. Over time, with much work and much growth, I have become one. Just like my friends who have graduated, I have developed myself so I can move on to bigger and better things. I would wish all of us good luck, but luck had nothing to do with where we are right now and what we have accomplished. Our own hard work got us here, and our own hard work will take us far. Of that I have no doubt.
